Bio

Passionate about transformative education, Aidan joined Catholic Education Western Australia in 2016 after leading some of the world’s largest organisations, including Microsoft and Apple, in developing digital learning technologies. A thought leader in digital education, he has worked internationally to help transform and realise teaching and learning potential.
 
Aidan has more than 25 years’ experience in in the education industry, leading governments, policy makers, universities, non-profits and schools across the globe to effectively plan, implement, integrate and evaluate learning with information and mobile learning technologies.
 
As a member of Apple’s Worldwide Strategic Initiatives Group he focused on large and strategic mobile and digital content learning initiatives. As director of the Global Digital Learning Strategy for Microsoft Worldwide Education, Aidan led a worldwide team of pedagogy, learning and technical specialists to support education systems with a vision and strategic plan for digital transformation.
 
Aidan has a Master of Education in Learning Technologies and is completing doctoral research in developing educators in Children’s Hospitals to expand their digital pedagogies in mobile learning technologies.
 
Married, with a very well-travelled family, Aidan enjoys sport, photography, motor racing, travel and loves the opportunity to work with the dreamers throughout the world who make technology do amazing things for learners.
