Abstracts are welcomed from all areas of IT, Learning, Research and Student Engagement across the Tertiary Sector. This is your chance to champion the use of technology that achieves outstanding learning experiences for students, supports research or provides a value added spark to your institution.
Conference theme
Our theme for this year is ‘Shaken, Not Stirred’ which will investigate the impact digital innovation and change is having on the New Zealand higher education sector. Core sub-themes of the conference include:
General Presentation Timing and Focus
All accepted Call for Abstract speakers will be given a 25 minute presentation slot in the conference programme (includes speaker introductions and 5 minutes for questions). Let your imagination run wild and take this chance to showcase advancements or initiatives within your institution.
The presentation content can be on any topic relating to ICT and the conference theme. Presentation content should encourage, inspire or inform delegates on current IT initiatives being utilised or are on the horizon for the New Zealand Tertiary ICT sector.
You are encouraged to submit your abstracts early, as speaking opportunities will be at a premium.
#Fail Presentations
For this first time, the Tertiary ICT Conference will have a #Fail session. In the #Fail Session you will present on project (or part of projects) that have failed and identify how issues were resolved. You may wish to provide solutions and advice. The style of the presentation will be Pecha Kucha.
