Effective Strategies For Cloud-Adoption Success

Abstract

The University of Auckland has embarked on a cloud adoption journey to make use of public-cloud capabilities to improve business agility and create better customer experiences. Underpinning this journey is a Cloud Strategy that informs decision-making and enables the goals of the University’s Digital Strategy.  Sanit and jeff will discuss the background, learnings, challenges, and frameworks used in establisihing a successful and effective cloud tenancy.

Bio

Sanit Kumar – Currently serves as a Cloud Services Product Owner. A forward thinking innovative leader with over 16 years of experience. Sanit strives to drive excellence within his teams into producing efficient results leading through transformation by adopting to technological changes. He values honesty and integrity in his work. He ensures that customer satisfaction is of high priority and that service levels are met.

jeff is currently Enterprise Architecture Manager at The University of Auckland.  jeff, @elbanoitca, has worked extensively in the domains of identity management, integration architecture, information management, and solutions architecture.  jeff attempts to lead a pragmatic, effective, and appreciated enterprise architecture practice.  jeff serves as chair of the CAUDIT Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice, and has represented Universities New Zealand on national working groups for digital identity services in education and research systems.
