Accommodation

Delegates can reserve accommodation for their stay in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington for the 42nd Tertiary ICT Conference – Hui Taumata Hangarau via the conference registration process.

We understand that the cost of travelling to and attending the Conference can be significant. To assist delegates, the Organising Committee is providing an accommodation subsidy of $30 incl. GST per room, per night for bookings made through the Conference registration process at our preferred accommodation providers.

The subsidy is available for the official Conference nights of Monday 24, Tuesday 25, and Wednesday 26 August 2026.

Please note that this subsidy is only available to delegates travelling from outside the Wellington region and does not apply to vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, or bookings made directly with the hotels.

Terms & Conditions

  • Accommodation reservations can be requested as part of your Conference registration.
  • Special Conference rates are only available through the Conference and cannot be accessed directly with the hotels.
  • Accommodation charges will be added to your Conference registration invoice.
  • Delegates travelling from outside the Wellington region are eligible for an accommodation subsidy of $30 incl. GST per room, per night for the Conference nights of Monday 24, Tuesday 25, and Wednesday 26 August 2026.
  • The subsidy is not available to sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, or Wellington-based delegates.
  • Accommodation and subsidy allocations are confirmed once you have received an accommodation confirmation email.
  • Changes to accommodation reservations should be advised to jaime@iconevents.co.nz as soon as possible.
  • Cancellations or amendments made within 30 days of arrival (from Saturday 25 July 2026) may incur cancellation fees of up to the full accommodation amount. In these circumstances, the accommodation subsidy may no longer apply.
  • Full accommodation terms and conditions are available during the registration process.
